Brand new checking battle camp
Defence First's Mike Weaver is excited to offer a different camp experience. We will review all types of contact, giving the students more confidence in every body contact situation.
Techniques for initiating and receiving contact will keep our students one step ahead. Players will learn improved balance, power stance, safety during contact and confidence-building methods. Throughout the five days, we will have battles that will constantly challenge their balance and adjust their stance.
Our goal will be to create confident, balanced players with a polished checking technique for both giving and receiving.
